Strengthening professional learning

Professional Development Committee

Partners with the Executive Director to plan topics and learning tracks for Fall and Spring Conferences, keeping sessions relevant to school business practice.

Developing association leadership

Nominating Committee

Identifies qualified candidates for elected leadership roles. The Board issues a public call for nominations.

Supporting student opportunity

Scholarship Committee

Evaluates applications and chooses recipients using KASBO’s scholarship policies and criteria. Available program funding determines how many awards can be made.

Celebrating professional excellence

Awards Committee

Oversees nominations, review, and selection for the Outstanding School Business Official and Outstanding School Business Support Staff awards, applying the established guidelines for each.

Helping guide the future

Advisory Committee

Offers strategic advice on programs, participation, community relationships, and fundraising to support KASBO’s continued development.
